Seventeen tonnes worth of dead pigs tumbled out onto Wroclaw’s Millenium bridge on Tuesday this week, stopping traffic for miles back and butchers’ sales across the city after their lorry transport entered the bridge too fast and keeled over on its side.(Un)luckily for the city’s fish population, say police, none of the dead swine went over the side into the water.
